Dwyane Wade

Despite being recruited by only three B-level colleges in his senior year of high school, Mr. Wade went on to lead Marquette University to their first final four appearance in a decade. He was also the third player in college basketball history to record a triple-double. D. Wade was initially overshadowed in a draft class that included LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony, but his heroics in the playoffs (starting from his rookie year) will be forever engraved in NBA history.

Dwyane Wade is one of the Institute's most respected sportsmen because he was able to prove all of his critics wrong.
