Apple, one of the most respected and innovative companies in the world, has given a great honor to the Prometheus Institute. Members of Apple's marketing team reached out to Prometheus staff earlier in March, reporting that individuals inside Apple "really liked" the DIY Democracy application, and "especially the branding." About a week later, Apple featured DIY Democracy on the front page of the App Store home page, and on every App Store iPhone application.
During this period, DIY Democracy ranked as high as the third most popular free reference app on the whole App Store, surpassing even the likes of Wikipedia and the Bible.We are so honored by the approval of such an incredible company, and we can't thank Apple enough for the honor. We are pleased that our work has satisfied some people in Cupertino, and we hope that subsequent updates will continue to retain that legacy.
